OK as promised for you exclusive Colour Lab subscribers. I offer some behind the scenes images and the full list of ingredients that I used to try to find a single colour and brushstroke for each Poet’s work. Sorry it took so long. And I hope this isn’t too nerdy, but I figure that someone will be interested other than me, and it was such an extraordinary and researched project. The finished pieces feel almost too tidy when I think of all the mess that went into mixing and problem solving but I am so happy to have been given this opportunity to fit colour and texture and stuff to some of the most thoughtful poetry of the last year from around the world. Please let know what you think about poetry and ink and how they work together. Have you ever found a meeting point in your own work. Do you have a recipe for how to make ink from Hollyhocks, antidepressants, or tar?
